The new home of the NFL Alumni Academy is Choctaw Stadium in Arlington, Texas. After being home to the Texas Rangers for since 1994, the recently renovated Choctaw Stadium is now a 270 acre multi-purpose complex proving that the Lone Star State is capable of hosting giant events. They say everything is bigger in Texas, and just one look at Choctaw Stadium proves it.

Texas is already home to so much football, it only made sense for it to also be the home of the NFL Alumni Academy.

NFL Alumni Health provides sports safety research for the Academy. NFL Alumni Health has brought together a team of leaders in neuroscience recovery and brain optimization for athletes, who operate out of a state-of-the-art, 5,000-square-foot research facility and laboratory that will be located inside the ConstellationCenter for Excellence at the Hall of Fame Village powered by Johnson Controls in Canton, Ohio. These medical professionals focus on identifying solutions that will enhance the cognitive performance, along with the overall health and wellness, of athletes around the world through research, technology, and training. The program studies the impact of both professional and juvenile sports on the minds and bodies of current and former players, with the goal of cultivating scientific breakthroughs that will ultimately improve game performance, make sports safer overall, and optimize the quality of life following a sports career.
